Jon Ezrine

CEO

Jon Ezrine is CEO of Brillion, responsible for guiding the company’s business goals, values, strategy, development, culture, and growth.

Ezrine has more than 34 years of executive experience in the software industry. Prior to Brillion, he served as CEO of Castellan Solutions, a SaaS provider of business continuity and crisis management software solutions. He has expertise leading rapidly growing SaaS software businesses backed by both venture capital and private equity sponsors.

Ezrine has successfully guided companies through mergers and acquisitions by focusing on seamless integration and maximizing value for stakeholders, customers, and employees. Previously, he served as chief operating officer for Nexidia, and senior vice president and chief financial officer for Witness Systems.

Brillion, a leading SaaS company that leverages AI, behavior and data insights in a modern application suite, enables North American utilities to turn energy customer relationships into true partnerships. The organization collaborates with utilities exploring new initiatives for energy savings, electrification, and other clean energy-related demands based on changing market needs.

The company was founded in 2024 through acquisitions of four world-class, energy-focused industry software companies—Apogee Interactive, AIQUEOUS, energyOrbit, and EnergyX Solutions. It is backed by M33 Growth, a growth stage investment firm.

Ezrine was graduated from the University of Virginia in finance.
Mike Boisvert, CFO of Brillion software company

Mike Boisvert

CFO

Michael Boisvert is Chief Financial Officer for Brillion, responsible for managing finance, accounting and customer contracts for the company. He also is a member of Brillion’s executive leadership team, implementing selected best practices to support the company’s values.

Boisvert came to Brillion with an extensive background in finance and accounting leadership and strategy at SaaS and medical device businesses, including Employ, GuideSpark, and NXStage Medical. He has a proven track record building processes, establishing financial controls, and integrating and streamlining reporting to bring clarity to a company’s financial performance. Boisvert places a high value on building teams that foster the growth of all members and finds their strength working collectively to bring about positive change.

Boisvert graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Lamar Torrence

VP of People

Lamar Torrence is Vice President, People for Brillion. As part of the company’s leadership team, he provides counsel on talent management, organizational change, and compensation. He is responsible for aligning human relations strategies with business goals, enabling a culture of excellence, innovation, and diversity.

Torrence has more than 15 years of experience in human resources leadership roles across public and private sectors; and manufacturing, software, and environmental consulting, with an emphasis in M&A, private equity firms, and worldwide programs.

Torrence came to Brillion from FORTNA, where he served as Global Human Resources Director. He previously served in various human resources positions for Golden State Goods, Arcadis, Owens Corning, Towers Watson, and Ernst & Young.

Torrence was graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a minor in sociology. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Georgia and a Certification, Labor and Industrial Relations, from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Mitch Bradley

Chief Revenue Officer

Mitch Bradley is Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Brillion, where he is responsible for sales, marketing and revenue generation. He is a recognized sales leader with more than 20 years’ experience in government operations, sales, and technology innovations.

At Brillion, Bradley works with the executive leadership team to help utilities cultivate every customer relationship into a true partnership. His focus is on accelerating the company’s revenue retention and growth while refining the company’s infrastructure and processes, resulting in an improved experience for new and existing customers.

Bradley previously served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for Cartegraph and as a member of the Esri Partnership Advisory Council. Earlier, he was Vice President, Sales Support and Business Development, for Accela. He also served in several asset management leadership roles for Hansen Information Technologies. At the start of his career, he served as Roadbed Design Engineer for the State of Nevada, Department of Transportation.

Bradley was graduated from University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science degree in geography. He has received certifications from the University of Nevada, Reno, Nevada Department of Transportation program, civil engineering, and from the Miller Heiman Group in strategic selling.

Joe Hsu

VP of Customer

Joe Hsu is Vice President, Customer, for Brillion. He is responsible for leading implementation, professional services, support, and managed services to maximize value and success for Brillion’s utility clients’ and their residential customers.

Hsu brings more than 14 years of executive B2B SaaS leadership across go-to-market, customer success, and product for companies ranging from pre-revenue to $30M in annual recurring revenue.

Previously, Hsu led Customer Experience at Projector, a professional services automation software company, which was acquired by BigTime Software. After acquisition, Hsu served as Vice President, Strategic Programs, and Chief of Staff to the CEO where he drove growth initiatives, including the acquisition, integration, and launch of a complementary product to the platform.

Hsu graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Bill Phelan

Chief Product Officer

Bill Phelan is Chief Product Officer for Brillion, responsible for product strategy, development, and go-to-market success for Brillion’s portfolio of customer engagement solutions. Prior to joining Brillion, he held executive product positions for companies such as JazzHR, PointClickCare, Intuit, Carbonite, and Progress Software.

Phelan is an accomplished software product and marketing executive with a proven track record building and growing successful Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and on-premise software businesses. He has strong experience in direct-to-customer, small business, and enterprise markets for marketing analytics and machine learning solutions, data protection and security products, mobile applications, and personal and small-business financial solutions.

Phelan was graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Jonathan Kleinman

VP of Utility Innovation and Policy

Jonathan Kleinman is Vice President, Utility Innovation and Policy, for Brillion. Kleinman joined Brillion’s executive team in 2023, aligning AIQUEOUS, the company he co-founded and served as CEO, in an acquisition with three other world-class, energy focused industry software companies—Apogee Interactive, energyOrbit, and energyX Solutions.

In his role with Brillion, Kleinman is responsible for leveraging strategic efforts to help utilities identify and implement innovative programs by using Brillion software. He has leveraged his expertise to collaborate with clients that are exploring new initiatives for energy savings, electrification, and other clean energy-related demands based on changing market needs. He also provides policy guidance that best serve Brillion’s audiences and align with North American regulatory requirements.

He has served more than 20 years in the utility industry, focusing on customer programs and services. Kleinman was graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Technology and Policy, and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor of Arts, College Scholar Program, from Cornell University. He also is a Certified Energy Manager, and certified LEED-AP by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Nishaant Sangaavi

VP of Strategic Sales and Partnerships

Nishaant Sangaavi is Vice President, Strategic Sales and Partnerships, for Brillion. Sangaavi joined Brillion’s executive team in 2024, aligning energyX Solutions, the company he co-founded and served as CEO, in an acquisition with three other world-class, energy-focused industry software companies—Apogee Interactive, AIQUEOUS, and energyOrbit.

He is responsible for developing and leading strategic sales and partnership strategies with utilities that are exploring new initiatives for energy savings, electrification, and other clean energy-related demands based on changing market needs. Sangaavi has spent more than 20 years in energy and technology in Canada and the Netherlands, serving Western Europe. Energy conservation and efficiency education, leveraging AI, have been career hallmarks to help utilities better support customers with personalized programs to manage needs and costs.

Sangaavi was graduated from Schulich School of Business, York University, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a Master of Business in International Business and Marketing. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Business from Dalhouise University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was honored with a strategic and conceptual selling certificate of excellence from Miller Heiman, now part of Korn Ferry.
